Our Electrical Apprentice Support Program
Our inaugural Class of 2026 includes first- and second-year apprentices out in the field right now, working on jobsites across Salt Lake and actively building their futures. We provide the following assistance.
Day-One Tool Kit
The physical tools required to start on a job site. Pliers, strippers, meters, pouches — the stuff you need on Day One that nobody tells you about until you show up without it.
Cohort Peer Network
Monthly check-ins and communication channels with other buildUP apprentices. You're not alone in this. People ahead of you in the same path, going through the same thing.
Trade Mentorship
Direct access to veteran Utah electricians and instructors. When you're stuck on a code question at 9pm or unsure if your foreman's ask makes sense — you have someone to call.
Financial Bridge Support
Help navigating the first-year costs that cause early dropout: initiation fees, licensing costs, gear replacements. The hidden expenses that stop people who've already started.
